AlJazeeraEnglish | Kenyan bomb blast survivors slam US-Sudan compensation deal ...

A group of Kenyans seeking compensation for the 1998 US embassy bombing in Nairobi have said they oppose the terms of a proposed compensation deal that will potentially see the United States lift sanctions against Sudan. Sudan’s transitional government has agreed to pay $335m to the US victims of the attacks on its embassies. However, the Kenyan survivors and families of those who died in the attack say the plan, which will see Americans receive hundreds of millions in compensation, is not fair and discriminatory.
