Ceasefire holding in Lebanon: Celebration on the streets of Beirut

There's celebratory gunfire and jubilation in Lebanon as a ceasefire with Israel nears its first 24 hours. Hezbollah remains defiant, though, releasing a statement saying it regards the cessation of hostilities as a victory. Areas of Dahieh, the southern suburb of Beirut—considered a strong-hold of the armed group—endured some of Israel’s worst bombardment during its nearly 14-month air campaign over Lebanon.
