Aid agencies worried by growing humanitarian crisis in DR Congo
AlJazeeraEnglish | Aid agencies worried by growing humanitarian crisis in DR Congo ...
Rebel groups in Democratic Republic of Congo have declared a unilateral ceasefire starting on Tuesday.
It comes amid growing concern from aid agencies about the worsening humanitarian crisis.
The UN says 900 bodies were discovered after days of fighting between Rwanda-backed M23 rebels and DRC soldiers.
Western powers have urged Rwandan troops to leave and M23 to withdraw, but it hasn’t stopped their advance.
Al Jazeera’s Malcolm Webb reports.
